The beauty of being in the Adelaide Hills is the availability of amazing fruit to be used in our beers. We’ve always loved berliner weisse beers for their low ABV, sharp tartness and refreshing characters. Although this isn’t a traditional berliner weisse aged in wooden barrels, it’s still brewed in a method that was used historically called a kettle sour, with the addition of strawberry puree.
Visually, expect a hazy appearance with a light pink blush. Aroma is a mix of subtle fresh field strawberries, wheat and light funk. Overall this beer is light, refreshing and more-ish.
